The next Prime Minister has already started his term by insulting Britain's closest ally. Andy Burnham, who will move into Downing Street, refused his invitation to the US Embassy's 250th anniversary celebration. His office calls it a scheduling clash. Its a snub, pure and simple. Starmer went. Farage went. Truss went. Burnham will not spend one evening at Winfield House because he finds Trump politically toxic.
